Memorial Day 2019

We had a beautiful day we all got out of the house together as a family

Our day was great

As night fell we was outside enjoying the breeze with a friend and we noticed lightening as we thought it was just normal heat lightening so we continued cooking our late dinner on the grill and outside with our children just ready to eat and relax

Well we went inside and we sat down with our food I look over and noticed my husband eating so quick and I didn’t think nothing of it

I took one bite of my food and then my phone started saying tornado warning take shelter now and the winds started speeding up trees cracking “our windows were open”

I immediately started screaming at our kids saying to get in the bath tub and our two year old daughter is just screaming and our son brentley is screaming and crying

My mom calls and is crying saying that the tornado is on little York rd close to our. Home and is coming our way and my dad is in the background screaming at her telling her to tell me to get our kids in the bathtub that this tornado is about to hit our house “ I really believe that my mom thought in her voice that this was going to be the last time of her hearing my voice “ and a week ago I had got saved at a women’s center as I needed help with formula and I opened up to the lady about everything my marriage , kids, mistakes , and I just believe that god honestly saved us the tornado barely missed our home and all I can do is thank god

We went without power and water but our community came together and so did RedCROSS with helping with water and things needed 🌪

Praying for our town & thankful we are safe and our friends family and everyone around us is okay
