Mama any advice of getting my almost 2 year old off the bottle. He was exclusively breastfed for 1 year and a month. No problem weaning him off, switched him to milk little by little. But now my problem is the bottle, anything that's not the bottles makes him gag!! He doesnt drink from a straw,plastic,paper or the soft jelly ones. No sippy cups. No regular cups..nothing! I never had this problem with my daughter but it's become an issue with my son. Any advice is very much appreciated!!

He’s probably not used to the faster flow of the cups. What size nipples are you using on the bottles? Try increasing to the biggest size so the flow is faster and then once he gets used to it try the sippy cups again.
He used the avent bottles and yes I kept him at slow drip nipple so it doesnt leak. Maybe that's my problem never thought about it, I will definitely try it. Thank you so much

How do I get my son more interested in a sippy cup or any cup in general while he's eating? His doctor told me today he should start being weened from his bottle but he won't take any sippy cups. I have bought several different kinds and myself and my mom and dad encourage it while eating and he refuses. So I give him a small bottle of juice after he eaTs.
