Has anyone had there tubes tied? Im getting mine tied and ive heard there few different ways to do it. Im gonna talk to my doctor friday about it to. If you did get your tubes tied how was your experience and how was the recovery?

@blessed2018w9 thanks for your story. I have to have a cyst removed afte rthe baby anyway i have a uterine fibroid and they cant remove it till after my baby is born. I dont want to be pregnant ever again my pregnancy is horrible and so many issues. If i decide to have more kids ill adopt. Im not to concern i just have to trust my doctors they will do the procedure right and i wont have any problems but anything is possible fingers crossed ill be the 5percent that has no problems after the surgery. 🤷♀️
Easy process but the periods are horrible after. I never really had cramps or bad periods before and now I'm half dead while on my period.
@vanilla_momma oh man my period after my first child was horrible and all my periods were pretty terrible after that cramping and just felt sick alot and felt like i was being stabbed in my stomach. So hopefully it wont be to bad or something incam handle. Thqnks for that definitely wont be looking forward for the period
im getting mine done too. ive heard good and bad but i feel like this is the best thing for our family. this is my 6th pregnancy and 5th living child and im 25. pregnancy takes a lot out of you. im a bit nervous about the surgery part but i know this is gonna be good for us
@nerdasaurasrex wow idk how you did it 5times your brave! im sorry for your loss.❤ This is my second pregnancy is killing me. Sick always cramping or Braxton hicks its been terrible. Im still enjoying the pregnancy just way more difficult then my first pregnancy.
@mommytoveralang in my experience each one you have becomes a bit more difficult. thank you. i lost a pregnancy in december and i will pretty early still but it hurt a lot. and i finally stopped and found out February 6th i was pregnant again. but i have an 8 yr old, a 6 yr old, a 2 yr 5 month yr old, and a 16 month old. so its time to hit the brakes and just enjoy my kids
I'm skeptical about getting mines tied because its risk for that further down the line. Ik I've read about increases chances for breast cancer. I've heard good and bad things as well about tying tubes. I'm still pondering on the decision. This is my 4th pregnancy. I mean I dont want more kids after this baby but idk if I wanna go as permanent as tying tubes or having my tubes remove. Then I don't wanna prolong my recovery with my csection by tying my tubes while having my csection. Cuz I've heard it makes it worst. I just dont know.
I got mine removed a few weeks ago. The first day I was super groggy but after I was up doing my normally day to day stuff.
@amouryaya09 okay i might just have to do that. Hopefully the army hospital on this base will be able to schedule it for me. For after my recovery.
@mommytoveralang, they should. Tricare shouldn’t be an issue. That’s usually what prolongs things. Good luck on base. I’ve had horrible experiences at military hospitals 😫
@amouryaya09 thanks i had my daughter on military base and had amazing experience with her. But this base at Fort irwin idk how it'll go or be.
I had mine done. Super easy. Was up a couple days after moving furniture. Just please make sure you’re 1000000000% sure you want this before you do it.

Some advise if you are considering getting your tubes tied... if you have heavy periods do yourself a favor and DO NOT have your tubes tied..

TUBES TIDE STORY 2006-2012
I wouldn't recommend having your tubes tied speaking from experience here.. I had mine tide for 7yrs, doctors will not warn you about the consciousness and pain it brings... I had to be put in counciling it was so horrible! B4 going into detail there are 90% of woman that will or have the same issues I did, 5% will do just great! So you will have that "5%" tell you that "O so and so had them tide no problems! " or "my whole family had it done and no issues! " or I had it done few months ago no issues just a smaller period! "(just having it done you won't see many issues until about a year later) smh.. There part of that 5%. That did great! As for the 95%? Not so much.. 5% are at higher risk of having a hysterectomy with in the first 15yrs of being tide(the surgery its self wasn't painful)... I suffered painful excruciating periods that balled me up like a infant in bed for days, a ultra plus tampon and a thick pad wouldn't hold it was extremely heavy, I gained weight, I had 3 surgeries for soft ball sized cyst (because your at a higher risk of having those when tide) and there painful! I was fine the first 4yrs of not wanting children I said NOPE no more I'm 100% Done!! Things changed about the 5th year. I would cry myself to sleep knowing I couldn't have more children seeing a pregnant woman🤰was devastating to me and so depressed.. I never had any issues with my periods, no cyst nothing b4 having them tide.. My clips fell off and they to this day have no clue nor the doctors know we're they went to!..recovery isn't to bad for the first couple days but that's not the issue.. You will have problems eventually trust me! I couldn't be happier having my reversal done in 2012! I've had no more issues or problems.. We payed 6,400$ to have them reversed..I was completely fine with not having any more for about 4yrs but then things started to change. My tubes feel off and the doctors we're baffled wondering we're they are to this day. After the reversal everything went back to normal no more pain or issues and I've had 5 tubal reversal babies.. Please think about this b4 having it done. You will eventually regret it
