I'm struggling not to strangle my neighbors upstairs. They, meaning mother and son, have been banging on walls and running around stomping back and forth since 4:56 am. So now my poor husband has to go to work but does not have to be there untill 8 and he's up. Looks another email is going out to association again. I really wish someone would do something about them. This is true harassment and it's getting old. I mean is your life that dull and boring that you and ur son need to harass your downstairs neighbors again. And I guess having stuff on recordings does not mean anything anymore, we we're told the cops have to be here in person to hear it. Which I think is BS. I have tuns if recordings going back a year. But every time we have called cops, they either take to long or people upstairs see them coming and stop. Get life. I have not been up this early since the twins were 3 months old. Oh and to add there is still running and stomping still going on at this moment I'm typing this at 6:48 am

Oh I remember why it first really started after her kid, they had a running toilet for months and months and they were not getting it fixed. It made a loud annoying whistle sound through our whole condo and day and night. So they had long enough to get it fixed and nothing happened so we complained about it to the association and that same day she comes home and starts making so much noise because we complained about it. Like just fix ur damn running toilet like most normal people do. She go so but hurt

Also pretty sure they keyed our new car to. But of course I have no proof. I'm sure it was her damn kid. Right in the same side where there garage and car is kept. It's also weird and funny but after we got our silver Pilot she got a silver Kia and month later. She also tries to out do us when we do Halloween decorations, I swear there is something wrong with this chick, she very competitive and I hate that crap, not into it

@divinely_favored it even all started the first time I was pregnant while we were moving in. The lady above who owns the place came down and complained we we're making to much noise moving in. And this at 1pm. The association told us she wanted the shrubs outside cut down because the birds make to much noise and she wanted the lawn people coming later in the afternoon because 11am was to early lol

I’m sorry but unfortunately there is not much you can do besides take the management to court with the proof you have. I’m sure if you look over your lease there are things you both agree too and a lease should be upheld in both ends from the tenants and management.

@phoenix_1284 I have so much proof. I have audio and video. It's ridiculous that's not enough for them to do anything. I even have a recording of her banging on wall downstairs in her stairwell while she is saying stuff. Also video if her driving past our place slamming on her car horn. Also recording of her setting off her car alarm 10 times in a row while it's in garage at night while my children are trying to sleep. It's basically built into our living room and dinning room. She would periodically honk her horn while in garage. And when she does this stuff it's loud in our place. It's obvious it's intentional

We live in a condo. We own we don't rent. But for 4 years we have made complaints to association and police. It does nothing

@icebergahead omg I hate when she wears heels at night on the hard floor too lol. But she does this when she gets home. Last lady that lived there did the same thing. I don't even wear heels. But if I came home at night after wearing them out, they would be the first thing I take off, especially shoes in the house, I don't walk around with shoes on

yeah I had mine on for about two minutes while stepping out and I got a complaint letter the very next morning. Mind you, it was 9pm.
I do not like shoes in the house as well. It was our entrance so the taps must have been for a short distance.
The guy under us hated anything I did. I even got a complaint for my dog’s nails tapping on the flooring once. And the management was always knocking at my door trying to sneak in the unit to see what was happening. I even sarcastically (out of frustration) told her what did you want us to do? HOVER?
I moved out after my first year lease was up. I could not stand the complaints. I was about 24yrs old and surrounded by some bitter elders. I must have looked annoying enough. I was paying Sky high rent for a nice 1 bedroom with balcony, pool, gym and “community center” just to feel unwelcome anyway lol.

yeah that's the other thing, now her freaking boyfriend's dog is here sometimes and they keep in the bathroom above master bedroom and all I hear is it barking and it's nails, it kinda sucks. And it's a freaking huge Golden retriever too, and she keeps it in bathroom when she watches it

Also, have letters signed and dated for each event and make a copy for your safe keep.
I had to do this 2 yrs back when I had a nieghbor, 3 doors down from us run a muck, smoking weed outside getting that stench in our AC units and in to our house. There were many other issues as well but we had to report, send a letter and even call cops for several fights that happened outside late a night. They were evicted about 4 months after. It tool a while but the office management were grateful for our concern and reports. They said it helped speed up the eviction.
Legal actions take time as well.

Sounds like the complex is not working to help stop further disturbances in their property pass 11pm. Which is usually the time that noises should be shut down. You might have to reach out to higher power about it.

They are not up that late running around at night. Sometimes to 10 pm. But it's the very early mornings sometimes. Before 7 am. But noise ordinance is between 9pm or 10pm, I forget , and 7 am. So no loud obnoxious noises that annoy people lol.

Yup. For 4 years we have had so much evidence. They new people that moved in upstairs over two years ago and the lady before that. This women rents from her and I'm pretty sure they are friends because I have seen this women there before she ever moved in. They are monsters

have you tried giving them a letter of disturbance before? Directly to the tenants upstairs?
Young children up that late, running a muck, loud enough for others to hear sounds annoying.

Very. My husband works full time and we have three kids. We are no where as obnoxious as they are. Think the loudest it gets here is when my son has a screaming tantrum and it's not even everyday. We need our sleep. This is just ridiculous. I'm about to call the cops for the millionth time

I’m sorry you’re going through that. I once had neighbors like that who lived above me. It’s inconsiderate. Smh
