Need help ladies!
Back story: I got the depo shot a couple days after christmas. I got it a few years ago and it completely eliminated my period which is why I chose to get it again after having my daughter. This time was different. I felt sick all the time. I would have my period for weeks at a time and I HATED it. so I never got it again in march like i was supposed to to keep up the 3 month cycle. I know that they say the shot lasts a little longer than the 3 months but would it still be in my system. I didn’t have my period at all since march. I got my period May 2nd through the 8th, last wednesday. and now I have it again. all of a sudden. I never had any cramps or warning signs when i got my period on the 2nd. I had no idea it was coming. But I randomly get bad cramps in between cycles. I’m hoping something else isn’t going on with my uterus or whatnot. I had an emergency section with my daughter but my obgyn said everything was fine when I had my postpartum checkups 16 months ago

That happened with me on the depo. After about 4 months I started getting normal again and talked to my doctor about the affects the hormones gave me. I've been advised to not use female birth control because the hormones make me suicidal, I have an allergy to metal, I am now allergic to latex and spermicide give me a rash.
You have to try some others to see what works best for you

When I got my period a year after stopping, it was all irregular like you’re describing. And I still another year later get bad cramps in between cycles.
