Any mom's in here have a kid with lip tie? My older son just hit my boy twin in the mother and he is bleeding a bit. So when we went to look at it we noticed how low the upperr lip is connected to the teeth and gums. There is no cavity above like you should have, like that that empty space. We thought maybe his upper lip got caught in between his teeth but it's not the case. He was not hit that hard.

My 14 month old as that and my nice whos 13 month as it also i went to see the dentist she said to get it cut at 4-5 years old before school start or else she will have a big cap growing up
Mine has a really tight lip tie. Doesn’t look like that. I’ll see if he’ll let me take a pic
@ladyfreyja, I would take him to a dentist and see what they say. It’s likely nothing and not gonna affect anything, but you never know

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
Teeth
Anyone's baby not have teeth yet? How old? My son will be 6 months in 2 days and he still doesn't have any.
My 2 had lip ties. Couldnt pull their upper lips up at all. Would've had huge gap between there teeth as well (I have a gap and had my lip tie released at 2 years old).
I'd take him to a dentist if you're concerned. Especially with a bump to the face.
Btw his inside upper lip on the left side looks a little swollen probably from the hit.
