Yasssss🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 I remember before I met my boyfriend , I had guys telling me that they wanted to see me and I kept denying them. 1, because I was never the type to meet guys from the internet, Idk that just me. 2, because I wasn't going to bring them around my kids and I just wasn't interested.
Now, my boyfriend met my girls before we even started dating. We met at the tire shop where he works because my friend was going to do my hair that day.
My boyfriend met my daughter the day we met because he installed my TV at our house 😂. From there it was a long time before we actually had a date with just us two 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣. So situations vary. The situation in the news is one on the horrific opposite end smh
I've always been careful with my daughter. My boyfriend has now been with her alone and all. We live together. He's more like my husband. So I'd say in our situation I wouldn't be guarded, or expect something bad like that to happen. Sadly it could be anyone!! So you just have to have faith but not be naive to red flags if they occur. That's all you can do.
That’s different, there’s people openly allowing every man around their kid that they met at clubs, bars, etc; .. my boyfriend met my daughter a few months down the line because of a situation where he had no choice but to meet her because she was with me but I’m still very overprotective over my kids. I just always think of it as you never know a persons true colors so I always have a wall up. For example, my daughters father I was with for 4 years.. I thought I knew him fully but had no idea he’s really the devil (he didn’t do anything to our child)
When I met my husband I had my 3 oldest boys.. n never ever did they met anyone i spoked with i am just not comfortable with that...it took a year for my husband to meet my boys...fuck that.... but like I always say every parent is different.. n I don’t nocked no one everyone do what works for them!
I agree, there’s no way I can introduce my daughter to everybody I decide to mess around with or whatever it is. It’s very confusing to their minds
Idk... my current boyfriend whom I've been with for over a year now met my son within the first week of me meeting him. When I was dating before I met him my son met every man I had an interest in and the way they reacted with him was the deciding factor of whether or not that person was worth getting into a relationship with. There was only 2 other men who seemed worth it before my current boyfriend but they were never left alone with my son. They ended up not working out but as soon as my current boyfriend met my son (who was then 20 months old)I knew he was the right one for us because my son absolutely adored him and he was amazing with my son. He is the father of my 10m old and we've lived together since the week we met.... he also has 3 kids of his own who live out of state.
I do things differently though and when it comes to dating as a single mother, bringing your children into it really depends on your own comfort level with the person and your own intuition in my honest opinion.
