Yep, Cal King snake. They’re actually pretty docile and they eat rattlesnakes so they’re not bad to have around

@mockingbird., lol that was my second close encounter with one. When I was pregnant and working as a caregiver at an elderly mans home, one was trying to sneak in under the back door. I just grabbed a broom and pushed it out to the flower bed. Not long after that, at the same house, I was sitting on the bricks that line the flower bed waiting for my ride and I turned around to see a blue runner and it chased me down the driveway! 😂 that was the fastest I think I moved my entire pregnancy!
