What’s the appropriate/healthy amount of weight gain for kids over 1? So like between my daughters 15 and 18month appointment how much do they expect her to gain?

1st Trimester Weight Gain Who else gained more than the "average" 4 lbs during the first trimester?? Just found out I gained 10 lbs!!!! Ughhh!! Super upset about that!!!

My daughter was the same weight at her 12 months checkup and her 18 months checkup. She was just way taller. At her 24 months checkup she was only 2 pounds more and again taller. They said she was well in her growth curve and showed no concerns

Mine only gained 2 pounds from his 12 months appointment to his 2 year check up just a bit taller

oh wow. ok! so there’s no set amount they should be gaining? my daughter already gained a pound since her 15 month check up 2 weeks ago and i’m wondering if she’s eating too much fat

No Set amount! If your worried you can try adding in more fruits and vegetables but I wouldn’t worry to much she is still young once she is more mobile she will start losing it or staying the same

I know this is like a day old but I don’t get on much.
My children’s dr goes by their own growth curve. As long as they stay along their growth curve well she doesn’t get concerned. She shows me line graphs of their curves every other appointment. It’s neat to see that way
