We're getting a bigger place soon and baby girl will have her own room. What age did your child(ren) sleep in their own room?

We just recently did it, before baby came along.
Both of the pediatricians I've seen with my son said to keeping him in the same room until he was at least one reduced the risk of SIDS significantly. But they both recommended I keep him in the same room until 18 months and if I did move him to keep a baby monitor next to my bed and pointed at his crib.

does anyone shut their child's door while they sleep? (if they sleep in their own room)

Kai has basically outgrown his moses basket so I was looking to get a crib until he's 6months and can go in his own room, some work colleagues have told my partner if he's outgrown the moses basket he might aswell be in his own room and to just get one of those sensors to put under his cot, I feel like he's too little to be in his own room though 🤔

When do you put baby in own room?
Top two is the nursery, bottom two is in our room. Mini crib given to us! How many mommas have their baby in the room with them? How long did that last before transitioning to their own room?
8 months. When she started crawling. But I'm waiting until a year this time around because my girls will have to share a room and because of sids
