What vitamins do you give your one year old? We don't have fluoride in the water where we live. I don't remember giving fluoride vitamins to my first son and his teeth are fine as far as I know. I torn between giving with or without fluoride
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name

I’m not the best for answering this but I know my dentist does a fluoride treatment on my daughters teeth and we use fluoridated toothpaste so I’m not too concerned with providing extra

@alishap1212, teach them 😊 i didn’t know shemaiah was going to do it bc he’s stubborn and do whatever he wants, and used to swallow the training tooth paste. But he spits it out every time because it’s minty and you know it gives the “burning” feeling. So when I’m brushing his teeth his disparate to spit haha.
Don’t worry so much they are little, brush their teeth every day so they have them clean and get used to it, and after you think they can follow instructions just start with the fluoride tooth paste. That’s what I did, the training tooth paste until I thought he was ready. 🙂

yeah I think I'm gonna skip the fluoride. I just gotta find a liquid vitamin they will take and tastes good lol

don’t they chew the gummies? Well if you can find them liquid it’s even better because they won’t have gummy particles stuck in their teeth. I give Shemaiah liquid vitamin c and a gummy everyday. He never ever ever (like he says) gets sick.

We use smarty pants gummies bc we tried the fluoride vitamin and she wouldn’t take it all .
Monday we are going for our first dental cleaning and I believe she would get the fluoride varnish also

I got it approved from our pediatrician the dr said as long as I’m confident with her ability to chew . She doesn’t have an issue with it . I smash it down so it’s not as rised. But she has no issue taking it when I tell you I tried multiple liquid vitamins she won’t take it at all . We just skipped the liquid stage

@ladyfreyja, also, they always apply the fluoride thing on his teeth in the routine check ups. Also at the dentist.

Ooh I just wanted to check back in on this one and I noticed the brushing with fluoride questions. Every dentist or doctor may have different opinions but I was told to start using a fluoride toothpaste at 1 using a smear the size of a grain of rice and that swallowing such a small amount should not cause any issues. There’s always something to worry about!
