Bought a couple bettas!

I’m actually going to look into a bigger tank. I didn’t know they need at least 3gallons I feel bad for him now.

@ladyfreyja, they do? Oh wow. I’ve always had them growing up and not once did I know they need a heater. I feel so bad now.

@kellynicole yea I know i work at pet smart but their too small. Betas need at least 3 gallons per fish.. I never recommend them

@kellynicole not trying to be rude or anything but I didn't know at first and I lost three fish. No they aren't expensive but I don't want the kids to see anything bad happen to them. My son loved his. He died right before his birthday. We had him for 3 years and he mainly survived so long because of the heater and larger space

@jennatess, mine would jump out also, I had a bunch of different tanks and fish but cleaning his was the most frustrating lol fast and jumping everywhere even if he was sitting in another big tank when I cleaned his still try to run 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

They were in cups.

And they live in rice paddies and drainage ditches in the wild. They’re ok.
