I’m a stay at home mom and my SO works but he will still cook and clean .

My ex was is like that still.

My husband helps when he’s home and off of work. I’m a sahm. He also thanks me constantly for what I do around the house.

I wish mine would clean but the only way it happens if I let the house go to crap. So I learned really quick, I can either leave or do it myself. I chose to do it myself lol. But there’s not a day I don’t think of leaving him bc of it! 😂 I love him to death but DAMN!

I’ve always been the only one who cleaned.

My husband is not the best with the cleaning part but rocks the laundry! He will help clean on the weekends. He’s the type that leaves his crap everywhere and it drives me nuts.

My man helps! It’s HIS house too.

I am a SAHM so for me I see it as my responsibility but he always pitches in to help me. We are a team

My man will wash clothes or something but he won't do much. He said he always takes care of the outside stuff lol

I don’t really expect my man to clean the house. I’m sahm so I have more time to do it then him, but when he simply makes mess, like clothes around etc. i do remind him to put it back himself.

I’m a SAHM too but I’m also doing a little work outside the home. During the work week, all I ask of my husband is to put his dirty clothes in the hamper, dishes in the sink and spend time with his son. On his days off, that’s when I handle my work outside the house and I expect him to at least fold laundry and tidy up. He’s actually a great cleaner when he does it but like most men who work 40-50 hours a week it can take a little prompting.

My friends who work full time insist on 50/50 on the house chores. Some have found great balance, others struggle. It’s all about personalities and a willingness to compromise.

My so still cooks and cleans. He is a clean freak on certain things and cant leave them even if I did it he'll still do it because he didnt like how I did it. He cooks more than I do because he loves to cook, I'm more of a baker lol. He cooks dinner I cook dessert.

Ive learned just to let him do certain things because even if I do them he'll go back over it like it was never done. It drives me nuts.
