30 minutes until my birthday and I'm trying not to cry my eyes out. Husband is abandoning me for half the day (at least) to go watch Endgame with his "bestie". Even bought her a shirt because she said she "wanted it" and would "pay us back" while I'm wearing clothes that are falling apart (which I know he will refuse the pay back so he basically just bought it for her). Looks like this will be another crappy birthday. Cant even afford to spoil myself at all because of him so yay for me.

I read your previous post. I’m sorry you’re going through that. I think if your relationship is meant to work you’ll have to put your foot down and tell him how his behaviors are affecting your marriage. It’s okay to have a best friend, but not to where it comes between your marriage. Like, it doesn’t matter that it’s a woman, but it’s the part where he’s not helping you keep things strong in your life and relationship. I hope he somehow surprises you with something fun for your birthday, but if not maybe it’s time to think about whether you’re better with the guy or without him. 😪

I personally am a jealous person and I would really have a problem with my husband being best friends with a woman because I would worry about those things, but I feel like when people get defensive over something or try to twist it on others it tends to be due to a guilty conscious. I only know what you’ve posted here but it’s not really looking too good. I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be mean or anything. It just sounds like a tough situation to be in. Did I see a comment on a different post saying he wanted a divorce?
