Should We Circumcise Our Child? Seeking Opinions
So..... What do you ladies think of circumcising? My husband and I have been looking into it..... I don’t want to cut a chunk off my kid for no reason.
Any other anti-circumcision mommies out there?

Didn’t circumcise my son nor would I do it with any future sons. My husband is intact so there was no battle or anything but if he had wanted to circumcise I would have fought tooth and nail. I just feel strongly about body modification being the choice of the person it is being done to. Especially to someone’s sexual organ. 😩
I had to circumcise my son's but honestly if I didn't have to I wouldn't. It's up to you don't let anyone make you feel bad. Do your research
@bhopper32313 My sons inherited hypospadias from my husband which basically mean the opening in the penis is too low. It usually causes problems and needs surgery before 6 months.
Do your research and do whatever YOU feel is best for YOUR child.
i have 1 boy who is circumcised and 2 that arent. if this baby is a boy he will be. the 2 who arent wasnt by my choice and now they're too old to deal with the procedure. but if this one is a boy yes he will be i prefer it and its easier to deal with in my opinion. if you dont like it dont do it. its all preference

If your husband and you don't want to do it, don't. Both my boy's are circumcised. It's personal choice. 🤷♀️
Anti circ here. Two intact healthy boys. First intact boys on both sides of the family. The procedure has been proven to be excruciating, and there’s no reason to do it. All the myths have been debunked.
I didn't do it to my son because his older brother and daddy are intact and it's been easy for them to clean themselves. No issues so far. But I'm not anti. Some people do it for medical reasons and some people do it because it's easier for them to clean it that way. I say do your research, talk it through with your husband, and then decide. It's always best to have as much information as possible before making decisions like that. 🤷♀️
I think you should do whatever seems right to you. Nobody would know either way regardless unless you tell them. I would do your own research and not listen to anyone on here.
I’ve been researching. Since I’m not Jewish, I have no valid reason to cut my baby up. I just wanted to know who else has thought about it.
@bhopper32313, if you and his father want to keep him intact I say go for it. If you don’t see a reason to circumcise him don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise
I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that we still do it so commonly in the U.S. It’s just cruel. Claims that it’s more hygienic for the penis have been debunked. I would not do it either!
My 5 year old brother just got circumcised due to all the infections he kept on getting & seeing him in so much pain not being able to walk makes me glad I got my son circumcised as a newborn & planning on doing the same with my second baby.
I’m sorry but I’m still not circumcising my son 🤷🏽♀️ and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it either cause it’s not right to me. That’s their decision to make.

I dont understand how circumcision, breastfeeding, and molding your babys head fresh out the womb became such a big deal all of a sudden so many wrongs and people against it, havent seen the problem back then with my other three pregnancy's smh this generation gets on my nerves 😒
Ok ladies I'm super nervous... my son is going to the urologist to be circumcised today... a friend of mine let me know there's a chance they'll offer to let me watch... I would hate to see my baby in pain but I don't want him to go through it alone... has anyone watched their son get circumcised and how was your experience?
I don’t want to, but husband is for it because he was circumcised. 😑 If I’m having a boy I’m going to push for not. I have two nephews who are intact and they are fine!
