So discouraged!!!!! I started induction at noon today they put the pill in my cervix to get me to thin out. I went from 50% effaced to 70% and then started pitocin and i was on that and contracting every 2-3 mins, didnt change maybe 1 cm max. (So I went from a 2-3cm to a 3.5 cm) it's starting to stress me out because they are threatening to send me home and try again in a few days and it took alot of effort to get babysitters together and my husband took today off (vacation pay) all for nothing if they send me home. They took me off of pitocin for now and tried the pill to thin me out again. Now in 2.5 hours they will decide to start the pitocin again or the pill one more time. I just want to cry. This baby is not cooperating

sometimes if youre stressed you won't progress. if you have a break from monitoring maybe you can manage a warm bath or shower. massage if you can handle it. try to relax, babies arent on our schedules yet. good luck!
Awww. I’m sorry momma. I’m in the same situation. I have been 3.5cm for more than 5 days. I was in the hospital last night for 6 hours. Contractions were every 5-6 minutes. I was sent home because I was still at 3.5cm. I was not given an iv or any medication. The OB said that my body was doing what it is suppose to do and that they don’t want to induce me. I walked 4 miles this morning and my contractions are now every 7-8 minutes.... I give up... this child is not cooperating. My husband took 2 days off and nothing... I hope they keep you and your labor progresses. Good luck momma!

@savvysmom, they can’t send you home. Your contractions are too close.
Awe can you walk. I will explain to them as well. That your husband used a vacation and you had to look for sitters !!

They are stupid, will only let me walk around for a hour. And if I'm on the i.v. they wont let me walk around at all

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

It’s frustrating but there’s only so much they can do. They can’t force you to dilate. If your water hasn’t broken and there’s no danger to the baby to wait then just go home and try to pass the time.
