Is there anything I can give my daughter to help with growth? (other than pediasure) I’m not sure if that’s even a thing, I know height has a lot to do with genetics but can also be a nutrition thing. My daughter is almost 15 months (13 months adjusted because she was a preemie) and she’s only 29inches y’all 😭

are her doctors concerned ? Emerson is a month under her and 31 inches and 21 pounds . But I agree with what someone else said
About checking out her bones. She could just be tiny , she could catch up

nope no concern at all. i’m not exactly tall either lol i’m only like 5”1. my growth was delayed 2 years my entire life. But i also heard height in preemies is the last thing to catch up

My 29 weeker is tiny too. If you are concerned they can do bone tests (to see how the bones are developing) and see if she is a candidate for growth hormones. They’re really pushing us for growth hormones but I’m not ready for it yet.

How tall is he now? I heard growth hormones can have bad side effects right?

My friend at work had a 7 year old that was short and only weighed around 30 lbs. I suggested she be checked for celiac disease as this can stunt the growth of a child. She tested positive and changed her diet and now she’s growing and gaining weight. The difference is amazing. Don’t know if that’s the situation here but it’s something to look into if all else checks out to be ok
