It's like a humidifier.

You can buy different diffusers some work with heat and some just release water with the essential oil.

Vapor rub can be used for babies and it has eucalyptus so I wouldn't see it being unsafe.

It's like making your own version of a humidifier but with a diffuser and adding a drop or two of eucalyptus oil.

Cheaper method would be taking a shower with baby and putting a few drop into the warm water and let the aroma fill the whole bathroom or you could just use the hot water and put drops of essential oils until it gets steamy and sit on the toilet or tub and stay in there for a bit.

Essential oils could be used for the skin and hair.

You could make your own soaps and lotions.

Also, some will repel bugs and you could make a diy bug repellent spray.

I love essential oils.

Wouldn't use adult vapor rub because the menthol can be a bit much and sometimes it can burn depending on where it's placed but baby vapor rub should be fine since it's probably less concentrated with the oils and it has eucalyptus instead of menthol.

You could make your own vapor rub with avocado oil and eucalyptus.

Better for the environment and baby.
