Question. If I tell the doctor that I know what day I conceived, then he will count the weeks from that day or do they stick to the freaking “first day of period” date? Because I’m not even 2 weeks and I know it. I conceived on the 2nd and the apps are telling me I’m 2 and 3 weeks. I’m not

They won't listen. I knew the day too, and until my ultrasound they wouldn't change it. I ended up being exactly right

I understand that most women don’t know the day they conceived, so they have to apply that method to have the due date figured out. But for women who know they should count just 38 weeks from that day. I have my app’s report to prove what I’m saying and stuff but who knows. On top of that, I was dumb and said that I was 2 weeks along instead of lying and saying “I don’t know”... so they gave me the apt for May 16th 😥

My clinic always starts with the first day of your last period then does an ultrasound to confirm the due date. My cycles are irregular so sometimes it’s a bit off. Usually if it’s within a week of what they originally estimated, they keep it the same.

I would wait to go until you are at least 5-6 weeks. You won’t be able to see anything on the ultrasound or hear the heartbeat before then and sometimes when it’s too early, the doctors make assumptions about it being an ectopic or blighted ovum. 6 weeks you should be able to see a gestational sac, yolk sac, and a heartbeat.

According to my first day of my last period I would have been due April 8th but they gave me the due date April 20th after my ultrasounds so I feel it all depends really

I went by the last period and I was supposed to be 7 weeks went to the er do to alot of back pain and had an ultrasound and the baby was measuring 5wks 5days. So it was off a few days from my last period

Just wait until the ultrasound . I had the opposite issue my period date was later than I was . So instead of being due aug 19th I’m due sept 4.
My ovulation was farther than typical. So I had 3 ultrasound until it was confirmed
