I’m so sorry. It’s very hard. Mine is only 40 mins away and I’m so upset she doesn’t come home every weekend lol. I’m so jealous she’d rather hangout with her boyfriend and have a life like a transitioning adult should 😂 literally a year ago I thought she’d never leave and that we failed. Now she’s excelling and I’m so proud but oh so lonely and miss her like crazy. 😞
exactly my son never talked about moving to another state or even out and about a wk before he did he’s like I’m moving i am not an emotional woman had him at 16 and we have always lived together it made me very emotional and so empty inside ,he has a great job in Texas and likes it a lot he’s a good young man just saddens me
I totally get it. It’s not heart break...it’s heart ACHE. You must be so proud of him tho. He truly is a reflection of your strength and a product of being a good mother. It’s a new stage of life. Another phase of growth and, for me, an awkward transition to learn to let go. Husband, her bio dad, does on some level too. I think as a woman, as a mother, it’s much more personal.
