Something that has always bothered me watching people yank their dogs leases when their walking them like an angry abusive dog owner sometimes I want to kick them 🤬
These kids seem to think I'm playing with them. I do everything around here, and their only chore is to take the dogs out. They take them out for less than a minute. I keep telling them, keep playing and I'll get rid of all the dogs. So I'm thinking it's time to ha e a friend come pick up the dogs while they are at school so they think I got rid of them. Maybe then they will take care of their one and only responsibility.
Dog problem! My SO and I have been wanting a dog for months now and he wants a maltipoo and I've been obsessing over shnauzers. If I spell them wrong I'm sorry I've never had a dog so that's why I don't even know if they're spelled right lol!
Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.
I just dont understand how you can smack a babies hand to make them understand to not touch something, have them in a toddler seat when they are 5 months old, and when she pulls the dogs hair you pull her hair?
Family friendly guard dogs? Which are the best? We were planning on getting a new dog but after reading that Peeping Tom post a few days ago, I now know it needs to be a good guard dog/protector of my babies!!

Oh no we don’t do it aggressively just a small tug to let them know there focus belongs else where I’ve seen people dragging their dogs by a leash and it just makes me wanna drag them

We did this to a point for training purposes because she used to pull like crazy and a little tug on the leash did wonders after a short period of time we won’t use a harness because they promote pulling that is what they are for so we use a flat collar or we use a prong for training only.

I see a collar around a dogs neck and people yanking on it very aggressively I see a dog being strangled 🤷🏻♀️

It bothers me when they do that too, I just wanna walk up to them and tell them to get a harness instead. Leash on a collar is bad news for some dogs. Ever hear how they hack and cough after someone pulls their leash to much or to hard. It kills me

We don’t use collars at all we only use harness and the leash thing we’re you have the choice to give them the how long you want them to go and want not and we let our dogs run free at beach’s bc some people at this time don’t really go to beach’s so we just let the run freely but when I walk them they are actually good bout it well one is the other one is still in training he likes to yell at other things and ppl so he keep the walk short

I have two dogs n There both boys so this was before they were fix when there not fix they can fight and my dogs were out back n our yard this lady walks back and forth up n down the street and I told please don’t do that your gonna cause my dogs to fight she told me to stfu I’m like dumbfounded bc she in the other hand keep pulling in fact dragging her dog n when she piss my dogs off they were fighting so what I did was spray water on them n she called animal control on me

Should have called on her I don’t have a dog but if I did I wouldn’t be yanking or dragging my dog what’s wrong with people

Same here or when the dog is peeing or pooping and the owner starts yelling at them and yanking their leash like geez let the dog go to the damn bathroom!!
