So this lady ive never met messaged my mother a few weeks ago telling her that my grandma who is dead btw had contacted her from the spirit world and told her to get my infant daughter clothing and so i kid you not she sent my mom a package of beautiful baby clothes and things. I said thank you ofcourse but honestly this lady creeps me out. She was family friends before my grandma died but i was 1 years old when my grandma died in 1995. I dont really know her either. So like.. im really confused by that situation. She said shed continue sending stuff bc my grandma quote "told her to take care of her girls". Im low key freaked out but also like... thanks for the clothes for my baby girl i..... guess...? I firmly believe in guardians but tbh my mother was adopted. My grandmother has no blood relation to my daughter nor did she really spend time with me before she passed soo.. im not even sure how to process that.

FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. my mom died this morning. She lived with me. this morning she woke up and went to the bathroom. i was on zoom and i heard a bang. she died in the bathroom. i wasn’t able to open the door or help her. she’s had health issues but this was unexpected. my kids were at home, i had someone come get them. i had to stay in the house with her body until the funeral home came to get her. idk how to tell my kids. they loved her sooooo much. i don’t know how to be at home. i’m just so lost. she was all i had. my dad died when i was 12. idk i just wanted to vent.
