It's because you're only supposed to use it up to three months old. People have been using it a lot longer babies have been rolling over in it and then not being able to turn back around because of the odd shape. That's what I heard anyway. My good friend has had one since her daughter was a baby she used it for her son who is now a year old she still puts them in it but she buckles him in. It's the only way he'll go to sleep
awe, I never had one but my friend has one that's how I found out about it. That's really scary. I wasn't that weird about my daughter when she was a newborn but my SO would constantly go into the room to check and make sure she was still breathing!!!
I used it with all my babies till they could roll over. Best thing ever. I never had an issue. Guess someone's not using it right. But I did not have the Fisher Price one if that makes a difference
My daughter used hers until she was about a year old. She was always strapped in and never rolled, not even in her sleep. My son always uses one. I wonder why those parents didn’t bother strapping the babies in or watching them until they at least fell asleep.
