My daughter fell a couple weeks ago and bumped her forehead. The know healed but now she has a noticeable dimple where the knot was. Will this go away or shrink (if that makes sense) as she gets older? No more parks for this mama.

I fell as a toddler into a corner of a coffee table. If I crinkle my forehead you can still see the dent where I hit. So I will cross my fingers your babies goes away. But mine did not. But I swear other than the major brain damage (I’m kidding!!!) I’m just fine.

I’ve been reading that massaging the dent and area surrounding it will help somewhat. I’m so upset. I feel like a horrible parent who should have leaped or something. 😢

do not beat yourself up. Scrapes bruises and dents build character and make for great life long stories. You are not a horrible parent. You could always take her into the pediatrician and get their advice on how to help it heal. But do not stress about it. Most likely it will heal!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
