My daughter is 16 months old, and not talking. She is being referred to a SLP and Audiologist for an evaluation. I was told by several moms that their child didn’t say a lick of anything until they turned 2. How common is that? I’ve heard this from more than 6 women.

Mamas who have dealt with custody battles with both parents being in different states. I decided to leave my partner today and took my daughter with me back to our home state of NY (my daughter and I were both born there). My family/support system is in NY and not in MI where my ex is from. We stayed in Michigan for about 8 months and I’ve read online that it takes 6 months of living in any state to establish residency. My partner is threatening to have me arrested on parental kidnapping charges...

My daughter fell a couple weeks ago and bumped her forehead. The know healed but now she has a noticeable dimple where the knot was. Will this go away or shrink (if that makes sense) as she gets older? No more parks for this mama.

Anyone else’s period out of whack this month?

Well, I’m never taking the trash out at night ever again. I thought it was my dog behind me but it turned out to be a bobcat.

That man had to be in his 30’s. 😐

Lately, my daughter has been refusing her meals after a couple of bits. Have any of you experienced this with your children at this age?
It’s getting difficult to make sure she’s getting enough nutrients.
