Question, if a baby gets up at night and cries and does not stop should you give them Tylenol so they stop? Someone I know thinks you should do this. 🙄
Course not. Everyone knows you shove some melatonin down their throat. Tell your friend she's doing it wrong 😂😂 some peaples🙄
I was being sarcastic lol. I know the ages on here. I've been on here for a minute. I happen to fall into the older women category & I have grown children. Somethings I read on here blows my mind. The best is when people ask questions and then say asking for a friend.. uh huh of course you are. I normally don't comment on posts and this is why. Bunch of sensitive sally's
I agree with everyone else and @livinglifewiththeloveofmylife , babies cry for a reason and there can be many reasons, anyone who meds their baby without knowing the exact reason or for no reason is purely lazy, unsafe, and should seriously re think😰.
It could be anything from teething, being wet, being hungry or thirsty, to even having a night terror or being cold🧐. Sometimes little ones just need a snuggle 🤷🏻♀️ Tylenol shouldnt even be a "last resort" option unless teething is active or a fever is spiked 😰😰 smh
@happymamato2 if I ment it like that I would just flat out say it. I don't sugar coat anything.
@happymamato2 didn't she say someone told her to do that? How old are people on here? Do you guys all like drama or what? SMH
My twins constantly wake all night long. Either because they drop their pacifier or something else. They go to bed by 8:30 then between 10 and 11 they start waking up off and on every night. It's crazy how it starts at the same time every night. I don't understand ot. Once in a while they sleep the whole night. They mostly just whine a little then go back to sleep.
Night terrors??? If it’s the same time every night it could be. Have they been making a lot of leaps cognitively? And when they wake up are they out of it or inconsolable?
@phoebesmommy one of my twins is about to start walking, the other is a bit behind him. I don't know if they are out of it or not when I go to them because I keep the room dark. But I would say they are more awake for sure
If I think they’re in pain then possibly. My kids never do that, so if they do it’s a big red flag that something’s wrong.
With not being sure of the cause? I would say no. Nurture the child.
Course not. Everyone knows you shove some melatonin down their throat. Tell your friend she's doing it wrong 😂😂 some peaples🙄
I just wanted to see how many people agreed with me. Because I hate being the wrong one all the time
So your asking if its okay to drug your baby so it will stop crying? Omh I've heard everything now .. The answer is no!
I know the answer is no. But someone keeps telling me to give Tylenol because baby will not stop crying and they say giving Tylenol will not be a bad thing.
@ladyfreyja have you tried feeding, rocking, etc. Babies cry for a reason.. Please dont listen to people who are saying to drug your baby because they are crying to much.
Not unless you know what for. Teething, fever ? But just to stop them from crying uh I think not
1 year old baby wakes up at night crying and does not stop, do you give them Tylenol? Not asking for myself but someone else
@ladyfreyja, not at all, unless you know for sure of fever or possible teething pain.
@ladyfreyja i know what u said im just flabbergasted at someone thinking that lol. Tell her HELL NO DUMB DUMB
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
