Hey all 👋🏾
So I have a three year old girl and have been potty training her since she turned 2. But it’s been difficult, she’s 3 now and is still not potty trained. I’m consistent, she wears panties in the house but still poops/pees in it. I don’t know what to do. She’s in school and they are trying the training with her too.
Any suggestions on what else I should be doing ? I also put her to potty like every hour and especially ten minutes or so after eating. I got my daughter evaluated at 1.5 because I was worried about her growth and they are only saying it’s speech issues she has. She excelled a lot and is speaking and understanding a lot more. It’s just this potty training is killing me. I feel like she should be trained and get it by now. I’m at my wits end on this.
@usthree, ah man lol hang in there love! Best of luck!
Try rewarding her with something when she does go on the potty. That might encourage her more to do it on her own.
I’ve tried that too, I get excited and clap and hug her . She loves high fives.
Maybe try every 20 min instead of every hour. My daughter did best when we did every 20 min. An hour was too long sometimes and she would have accidents. I set her favorite song as an alarm on my phone and when she heard it go off she knew it was time to try and potty.
@usthree it worked for us. We always gave her fruit snacks (they are her favorite) after she went too so she knew she did a good job. Only problem with that was she though she got one ever single time she went potty even after she was fully trained lol.
@catfish2220, I was doing this but I realize it’s not the healthiest option for us.
@usthree it's definitely not for everyone. We won't be doing the treats with my son because he gets wild and always wants more than one of everything he eats. I hope the timer thing works well for you though!

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

Okay I’ll be real and explained why I joined, I didn’t know I could be looked up or anyone would actually see this post, I was informed someone I know has been stealing pics and I came to look and see what’s going on if any of mine were on there or anyone else I knew. I just typed until it let me post since it was required before I could look around on the app.
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
When I potty trained my oldest, I put the potty close to the toilet. Every time I had to go, I’d have her copy me (stand in front of the potty, lower pants, sit) and I’d tell her to pee or poop. I’d give her a few minutes while we’d chat to take some pressure off. It worked almost immediately. She was officially out of diapers by the end of the week.
