Ik someone like that. There were rules though and it wasnt a stranger. Like they knew the person to the level that if she had any sort of disease they knew about it. It was actually a mutual friends friend. Her and her husband were down with my friend like that but she was also single and best friends with the both of them before they were even married. It was completely awkward for me finding that out amidst a game of cards against humanity but that ish gets real. I was still all good with it but it made total sense why they were all so epically close after finding out.
We personally have talked about a “girlfriend” but mainly it’s just about sex😂 like we would be down with a three some, but I’m not down with him going to sleep at her house or fucking her alone and damn sure not having kids or raising mine.

The men who want it im sure are just lustful people especially with that many wives and that many sexual partners dividing time in between each partner individually and as a family is a task in and of itself. Let alone having to broadcast and repeatedly explain your family dynamic as a paradime because its not normal. Not even because its genuinely frowned upon in most societal standards. Even for "normal polygamist " families Kody Brown has entirely way too many wives. Its pretty obvious by Mary his first wife that hes just a hard person to please. I dont blame anyone even in the life style for getting tired of his charades. And i can tell you that although in the old mormon church polygamy was normal most mormons even in his own chapter find his life style to be despicable and uncanny.

@nerdymommyplus2 no they dont. Its not a forced law nor is it enforced. Im just trying to make the point that kody browns family is all for show. Its not really what its like. Theres hidden closeted things they dont bring out on purpose.
Polyamorous or polygamists violates the "bigamy " law. If unmarried it's completely legal.

Polygamy is a wild spectrum and i genuinly believe that 2 partners relationship should stay within the couple but ive met others who swing and/or allow another female or male in their relationship and its usually to fullfill a need that the core partner has not filled. To me its better to communicate the need and want of your original partner and see the response. Most partners will be fine with trying something new or delivering more on extra personal time, ect. Its never okay in my opinion to initially suggest another partner. Which really only suggests that you yourself are not happy in a portion of the relationship and would instead of working on the core issue like to move on to another partner only suitable for the need your core partner could have filled if only they were aware of your true feelings. In another hand if you simply just want to try a one time sexual escapade that in and of itself is not polygamy. Its lust. Which is usually handled poorly and also confused for polygamy. Polygamy in my personal opinion is not only wrong but illegal. But with that said--- to each his own. For example, marijuana where i live is illegal but i also dont care if you smoke a bowl in front of me even though i dont smoke marijuana because well... its none of my damn business what you do with your personal life.
