Does the middle name Mavis go with the first name Ember? Full name Ember Mavis Fountain or better if we stick to Ember Rose Fountain?
So I've mentioned to a couple family members that if I had another boy we'd name him Dawson Anthoney Fountain. Dawson is my mother's maiden name( I am very close to that side of my family) and Anthoney after my brothers middle name. Now I'm starting to like Emmett Riley Fountain and Ridley Anthoney Fountain. What name sounds the best? I'm torn.

Mavis from hotel Transylvania lol....my daughters middle name is Rose. Back then it wasn’t as common as it is now.

That's what I wanted originally but my husband only loved the name Ember. He said Mavis sounded like an old lady name.

he originally wanted Amber but I was like no way so we compromised on Ember but Mavis was always in my top 4.

Does the name Mavis have a special meaning to you? Rose is my middle name and each of my girls have it as a second middle name. Growing up it wasn't a much used name, but I find it is very common now. If Mavis means so much to you, I'd say use it!

No super special meaning but I love the hotel Transylvania movies and Mavis was my favorite. So I thought it was such a cute name.

Perhaps give her both! Ember Mavis Rose. My girls have two middle names. You could even hyphenate

Yeah I was kind of figuring that well I guess if we have another baby after this one I hope its another girl so I can name her Mavis. 😂
