Is it bad if she is breasfeeding & smokes pot?? She said she is very tired,frustated,has anxiety problems & thinks she is going on postpartum depression.. She will like to atleast smoke a bit not everyday just a day to see how she feels.🤷🏻♀️🙄 i just don't know what to answer her bc i don't smoke bc i'm breastfeeding won't do it until i am done with breastfeeding not sure if it will harm baby or not thats why.!

I vape thc but I wouldn’t while pregnant or breastfeeding. Mainly due to lack of research. Just personal choice.

Cannabis doesn't pass through breastmilk. Any IBCLC will tell you that 0.08% passes through to baby and tbh, breastmilk has natural cannabinoids 🤷♀️ I don't see anything wrong with smoking infrequently to be a happy mom. I'd rather her smoke some weed than shake her baby.
She should switch to formula if she is going to do that. Babies aren't science experiments and she won't know if it hurts the baby until it is too late. Just my honest opinion, not meant to sound rude.
This is true tho. Ain't nothing wrong w smoking just dont experiment w the baby. I'm a smoker and I went back and forth whether to start back or nt and ultimately I formula fed and me and baby are both happy and healthy.
My older sister smoked weed with her last 3 kids and they all have issues. One is ID and the other has major behavioral issues. And the other one has behavioral issues too . And the middle one has seizures .

I feel so disrespected, as you can see I asked my mother not to smoke tomorrow, being that she will be at the hospital as in being induced and until I actually have the baby. I don't want her covered in cigarette smoke around me and my newborn child. And DAMN sure don't want her holding him if she's going to smoke. I wouldn’t recommend smoking every day because so many new things are coming out about weed not being natural anymore and there’s more additives in there now that make people actually become like psychotic or have more psychotic tendencies (I looked up into it too) so if you do definitely not every day only when absolutely needed I don’t plan on ever smoking weed again just because it makes my heart race
