Normally your midwife does this with you. When I had my first it was paper notes and they wrote it down with you. This time it was all computerised and she filled it in online so was visible to midwife when I went into labour etc.

You need preferences on pain relief. What you'd like to after birth I.e delayed cord clamping etc.

Name birth partners.

Who to cut the cord

Skin to skin contact straight after birth with mum or dad etc

Never had one. Maybe just write down what you'd want to happen in case of an emergency, or just make sure one of your birthing partners know.

I think if you have a birth plan you can get a but disappointed, because giving birth isn't really something you can plan, it will happen how it happens. In our hospital you're not even guaranteed a water birth or a birth on the midwife lead unit. You've literally just got to take what you're given because they ar so understaffed and underfunded 😩 yet they still ask you to write a plan knowing they probably won't be able to stick to it🤦

I never had one with my daughter i just had my mum and partner as my birthing partners no plan what so ever 🤷‍♀️
