Ok so I’m a soon to be first time mommy to a baby boy. My due date is August 1st! I was just wanting to hear from u guys on labor and delivery. Of course I’m nervous. I definitely want an epidural to try and avoid as much paid as possible.
@daniellewinfield17, especially if the baby is not in the ideal position. My girl was sunny side up which means she was face up and the biggest part of her head was pressing against my back during contractions making it feel like she was trying to come out of my back and take my spinal cord with her. By the time I got my epidural I was cussing and crying. Not easy at all. When you feel it’s too much, get it. Forget what everyone else tells you. That day is all about you and your baby
They recommend always waiting until you’re at 6cm dilated before you get the epidural. Since it numbs you so much, if you get it before 6cm then you’re more likely to end up with a c-section. So keep “SIX” in your mind. ♥️
(According to both birthing classes I’ve taken - my two OB’s, all the nurses I ran into when I was in labor the first time, and my friend who is a labor coach.)
Congrats!! I had an epidural and my L&D was pretty easy I think. Once I got the epidural I went to sleep and slept pretty much up until the time I had to push and then he came out. I tore 🤢🤬👎🏾🤦🏾♀️ don’t wish that on anyone but I’ve since healed and all is right with the world. Hope your L&D is safe and quick as well!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I got mine at 4.5cm and it didn’t stall my labor. My OB actually recommended I get it. Not sure who is recommending to wait? It can stall labor during induction but every woman is different. Trust me, by the time you get to 4cm it’s gonna be painful. Get it when you’re ready
