I did this for extra credit. I passed. But my dad didn't realize that it records everything and just thought it was a doll and picked it up by its foot. It cried for 4hrs straight. I got asked about it and made the teacher giggle so hard. Totally not close to the real thing especially bc you can ask for help and not fail for leaving your real child with a responsible adult that you know.

I did this. I was pregnant at the time. It sure was a rude awaking. Everyone should have to do it. Stupid thing was so loud though. I put it in the garage and I hear to dumb thing 2 stories above the garage

I had to do this and I had twins! It wasn’t as bad as I expected but I was already used to babysitting a few different babies and toddlers by this point in school

i never had to do this. and honestly i dont see how it could be anything like the real thing. i got pregnant at 15. had my baby at 16. i ended up getting my highschool diploma while taking college classes at 17. i went to college at 19 and got my vet assisting certificate and then again at 23 and got my associates in industry management. being a teen mom was hard. even with the fact that the dad stuck around for 2 years after. i had my 2nd baby at 19. and was a single mom of 2. my dad helped me a lot. thinking back it was hard but if it hadnt happened i probably would have been a totally different person and not necessarily a good one. also i wrnt through the real thing at 15/16 and that still didnt stop me from having another baby at 19. i know here they dont do that anymore. they cut funding so no sex ed no home economic and i heard no drivers ed. and art and music have been taking out by a lot of the schools too. anyways im not saying being a teen parent is great or that people should do it but that even if i had to have done this witch i have been told is usually 11th to 12th grade id probably still have been a teen mom.

Its a baby doll tho... Lol when your looking at your real child that you carried and gave birth too. And they are alive and telling u they are hungry and looking at you knowing who you are it makes it alot easier. Dont get me wrong its still hard but imagine getting woke up every 2 hours by a plastic thing that has no soul or movement or interaction to your voice or your touch... 😂

Definitely lmao, they make these dolls worse than an actual kid 😂😂 then trying to bond with the doll is hard because the body won’t adjust properly lol.

I feel like that class would be the perfect one to start sharing car seat safety knowledge in 🤔 I know law's change, but I feel like some people don't even realize they exist lol.

@gianasmom my sister just did this in her class last semester and when we visited she offered to buckle my daughter into her carseat and I asked if she knew how. And she was like "yeah we had to buckle our baby into one" so o asked again if she knew exactly how, such as rules and stuff. Nope. Shame, because if they are going to act like they are teaching these kids realities of having baby's, this is something that should definitely be taught! I didn't realize all the safety things with car seats until my baby was a couple weeks old and I happened upon something on Facebook.

@cass404.ch, yes I agree. I didn’t realize how important it was until I had my daughter and they showed a video clip of car seat safety and the internal damage that can happen if not strapped properly

I NEVER had to do this. I went to a real catholic school and they didn’t push health or whatever class you’d get assigned this in. Boy this girl is in for something when she finally gets pregnant herself lol

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
