Moms! I need some suggestions for a picky eater. My son is 7 months. He is drinking soooooo much formula and showing interest in food so we have been working he past month or so on it. I finally got him eating some cereal but when it comes to baby food he hates it. I’m talking gagging so bad until he pukes. We have tried soooooo many times due to the dr saying keep trying he will stop. I’m just wasting baby food now. I have started a bit of baby led weaning but he isn’t having the easiest time with this. Some food he is ok with but some he gags and pukes too. He seems to do ok with ones where he is just getting a little taste and not really eating it. He wants to so bad though. He will try to grab food off our plate. Also I have tried making our own food. So far green beans was a no go but he loved boiled avocado with formula. 😂 I had to boil it because it wasn’t ripe yet I couldn’t believe he liked it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i didnt feed my son any baby foods or baby cereal till he turned 1 but once i ibtroduced him to baby food he wasnt havin it lol so i mixed the baby food into the baby cereal and he loved it💕 January we stopped feeding him baby food and baby cereal because he doesnt like it anymore, now i feed him lots of veggies, fruits & meats
Don't stress it, formula is their main sourxe of nutrients until one. Some babies arent too interested in foods until a little later.
Food before one is just for fun, so don’t stress too much about it just keep offering and he’ll eat when he’s ready. My son was also slow to eat solids, I started sitting him in my lap while I ate, he was more apt to take food that I was eating off of my own plate than his. Once he ate a food off of my plate, he was usually interested in eating it on his own.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
I want to have a baby so bad and my boyfriend feels the same but says hes not financially ready...so does welfare have to be paid back?
Because I have to be on mental health medication after birth I am unable to breastfeed😔 what are some good formulas for babies? I know breast is best but I can’t be on the medication I need and breast feed.
Thanks ladies. I think I tend to forget he doesn’t need to be eating it now and not to rush it. It’s just my daughter was so polar opposite. She was eating cereal and food before 6 months and some solids by 9. She was off baby food before 1 and didn’t take many bottles either. She is such a foodie though. Lol
