Any mom's 35 weeks or farther and their cervix is still closed I feel so discouraged 😢
I showed no signs of dilation until 38 weeks and it was just to a 1. I went into labor on my own the night before my due date and had her the day of.
Both my babies when the Dr. check my first one at 39 weeks cervix was closed at 40 weeks and 4 days I went into labor with my second the Dr. check at 38 weeks and the same it was closed I went into labor at 39 weeks and 4 days when I arrived to L&D I was 8 centimeters so I guess it depends on the person.
You have plenty of time mamas! Some people can be 1cm or 2 by now but most don’t until closer to their due date. Just relax and try to enjoy the last few weeks 🥰 (it’s the hardest thing to do I know!)
With my first I wasn't dilated even at 39w. It really doesn't mean anything.
And it’s way too early to go into labor.
I wasn’t dilated the day before I had my daughter. Dilation means diddly squat if you’re not having contractions
It’s supposed to be closed still! You’ve got a few more weeks to go.
I have 27 days till my scheduled csection I wanted to try for a vback since this is my last and final baby
@cierralhoffman, 27 days is close to a whole month. You’ve got time, your body will change within the next couple of weeks.
I wouldn't expect to be dilated now. I would certainly hope I'm not until I'm close to labor
I have 27 days and wanted to go into labor on my own most mom's I see are already dialated to at least a 1 I'm just so discouraged that I won't be able to go natural
@cierralhoffman I wouldn't worry too much. Some women can go from 0-4 fast. Maybe your water breaks? There is still plenty of time. I was stuck at 2 for 3 weeks and had to get induced
@lacondesa I go to the doctor next week so hopefully there is some kind of change and then I start to go weekly
I spent 15 and a half hours in labor with my first born and only dialated to a 4
