I dislike how “normalized” this whole snap-back after a baby has become.. let yourself heal. It’s not a competition at all. We are all beautiful!!! 💕
Some people work hard to get back to their pre baby weight, and other have great genes and don’t have to do much work. But we are alllllll amazing just the way we are🥰

It takes your insides 7 years to go back into their exact place after birth! My hips will never fit into size 1 jeans again and that’s okay! I don’t know how some people are back in the gym by 2 weeks pp when I couldn’t even shower 😅

I have never been a size one in my life. And with my first I had a 3 month healing time before I could even start going on walks after giving birth. But with my second I felt well enough the same night I had her to walk, and if I had help with my girls, I would have started working out immediately upon going home- I even had the doctor's ok. With the first my tearing was bad. With the second I didn't even have bruising down there bc she came so fast. So it is possible. I think the problem is people having unrealistic expectations of themselves or wanting to work out for someone else and not themselves. I've always hated that. But for people who generally care about themselves there is nothing wrong with working hard to look and feel good. Honestly, I wish more people would care about their health from a working out perspective. Men and women alike. I wish I knew someone who I could work out with. I am unable to work out alone so it is taking much longer to feel healthy and baby is 10 months. Accepting oneself is the most important thing but I think some of us make such a go at fake confidence that we sacrifice our health in the name of "being ok" with our new look instead of even trying to do better. If only there were any easy answer to finding the middle ground on this.
