Sadly some beliefs say id you harm yourself or kill yourself you go to hell. That woman is just stupid. That's great you're 7mth clean. You should be proud of yourself. Focus on that instead.

Why would you previously harming yourself make you go to hell? That lady is nuts. I don’t think religion has much to do with that one.

I do believe in God and I do consider myself a Christian, BUT people like this are the reason I do not go to church. As human beings, we all have struggles and sometimes life just plain sucks! Anyone who tries to pretend they are perfect and points out every single flaw in every other person is a hypocritical liar IMO. From my experience, the churches I’ve attended have quite a few “fake people”. Don’t tell me God is the only one who has the right to make judgements when you sit there talking shit and judging. So proud of you. I been clean for 9 months hard as hell but I keep telling myself I can’t self harm while being pregnant. Self harm is a topic no one talks about, when you do talk about it people wanna argue that it’s not a addiction. But it really is. I have so many people stare at my scars but never had anyone say anything. Just remember every day you wake up is another day you defeated. Stay strong and stay clean. It’s so nice to see some of my scars fading. I know some will forever stay but it’s nice to see them lighten up. If you need to talk message me any time ❤️
