Is this a true story? You're right She doesn't deserve to be a Mom! You can't leave a 5 year old home alone! I would have reacted the same way the Father did
I was left home alone with my little sister, constantly when my mom went to the store when I was 5. My sister was almost 3. She locked the door, we stayed watching cartoons. But she NEVER would leave the oven on! (Disclaimer: I am not supporting, it was a terrible choice)
i know shit like this actually happens. it happened to me. i was in the fiancees shoes. i was a 19 yr old single mom of 2 and my dad watched my kids for me my son was 3 and daughter was 3 months. i was at work one day and my dad told my boss there was an emergency and i had to come home. im thinking one of my babies is hurt. come to find out he took a neighbor to work and was gone for 2 hours. he took my son with him but my daughter was a hassel and so he left her in his basement apartment with his wife who had had a stoke and was wheel chair bound and couldnt even feed herself or hardly talk. aparently he was gone 2 hours and he lwft my baby in her carseat buckled and she started screaming and crying and wouldnt stop and someone called DHS and adult DHS and the police. i ended up having a whole DHS investigation and had to quit my job. and i passed but my dad didnt DHS told me to never leave my kids with him again and that he had too much stuff in his apartment and it was a fire hazard. come to find out my dad had been leaving her like that when he had to go somewhere. my grandma knew and niether had ever said anything to me. my sons 8 and daughters 6 now and i thank god to this day shes okay and i didnt lose my babies.
Damn, that was so irresponsible of your dad. I’m glad nothing happened to your babies.
