Does anyone know if taking melatonin (the sleep aid) will give you a false positive test? Everything that I have read says it will give you a “true positive” sooner. Today I am 1 day late for my period and I took a pregnancy test this morning and to my suppose I got a BFP... I mean HUGE! like it was no doubt that it was positive. I don’t know what to think.
I was here a while ago (September 2017) and I miscarried at 6 weeks and 5 days. Super hard for me and I’ve been dealing with it this entire time. The only thing that is making me on edge of being super excited (because being a mom means everything to me) and kinda sad is because me and my child’s (the one I miscarried and could possibly be pregnant with) father are no longer together.
I’m on edge someone please send some positive energy this way!

My first one I took this morning looks like your fourth one. I’m one day late... even when I miscarried it wasn’t this present of a line. If the rest come back with a good line tonight I might just go tomorrow to see and then make my one appointment with my gyn if that comes back positive.

Everything i found says it can’t give you a false positive, but it can boost the hormone that hpts test for.
@livingwithmariah hey I really do feel this status on a personal level. Being as though that in my younger yrs I had 3 miscarriages n I thought I will never ever be a mother. So I Kno how important this really is to you. So I hope n I pray for u to get your baby soon.. sending you baby dust your way praying you are pregnant n have a healthy n happy nine months love xx
I've never heard anything about a faults possitive from it it shouldn't have anything to do with hcg I would say your pregnant
That’s what I was thinking but a part of me doesn’t want to get my hopes up. I think I will take a few more and if they all come back positive then I will go to the doctors to confirm *screams*

I would definitely call your OB after your next test in the AM. I've never heard of melatonin causing a false positive before. Baby dust your way!!! I think you very well may be pregnant. Congrats!
