at around 10 weeks you can have the chromosomal test (it has different names based on which company manufacturers it for your hospital) it tests for tesacks (sp) Down syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities. It also has the side benefit of telling gender.
It’s a simple blood draw. I had it with my second son and it came back 98% certain of boy and no chromosomal abnormalities. He is definitely a boy, and no chromosomal abnormalities.

Yeah in my state seems I have to wait until 18-20 weeks as well but seeing everyone In my newsfeed find out at like 13 weeks

I think in Ohio you can find out at 10 weeks or 9

Your OB won’t do an ultrasound to determine sex until 20wks because that’s when it’s most accurate for gender. You can have an elective one (that you pay out of pocket for) around 13-15wks and they can tell you most times.
Or you can do the blood test that will tell you earlier.
