Hey y’all... so my son was circumcised when he was born. I noticed that he had a lot of skin but didn’t think anything of it. Went to the doctor yesterday for check up and she says he needs to get re circumcised... the skin has grown back. I think it was done right the first time. Anyone ever heard of the skin growing back?

Mama, may I suggest that you wait and give it some time? If they over do it, it can damage his man bits for life.

I recently watched a documentary called American Circumcision and cried my eyes out.

Whatever you decide I hope all goes well for your precious boy.

So you disagree with the doctor? Don't do it then.

When I got my sons done the Doctor Who did it explained to me that since the penis is so small they have to judge exactly where to circumcise. And there’s a possibility to taking too much for skin off or not taking enough off. And if they don’t take enough off there most likely going to have to get re-circumcised.

I’ve heard of his happening, but am unsure as to why it does happen. 🤷🏼‍♀️ this happened to one of the babies I used to babysit, and he was recircumcised at a year old, totally happy and healthy little dude now, and it was relatively nbd 😌
