Has anyone else had their family not be supportive in ur decision to have ur kid? My father and brother both are telling me to give it up and that I'm gonna be a horrible mom and give the kid to my mom if things get rough.
They did, however, try to force me to break up with my now hubby because they didn't like him. He had had previous drug issues and my mother thought he was, quote "poisoning my daughter's mind". (Yet my mother has 4 baby daddies soooo..... yeah)
Is the age difference the only thing that they are upset over or are there other things? Honestly Do what’s best for you and don’t let what your family thinks have an influence on your decision. I was a teen mother and neither one of my parents were happy about it but once I had my daughter they instantly loved her. They’ll eventually get over it but if they don’t cut them off... you don’t need people like that around you or your baby
My parents always said if I ever got pregnant as a teen they’d make me abort it. A reason why I didn’t tell them I got pregnant for so long. With this pregnancy I told them and they said I shouldn’t have it. I just told them that if they don’t want to be in their grandchild’s life, that’s perfectly fine with me.
That's what I told my father nd technically I'm an adult already. They just don't seen t that way
Ohhhh yeah. When I got pregnant with my son it was the end of the world! And by the time we got pregnant with my daughter, everyone was over the moon. There was a lot of judgment over my SO’s appearance, and to be perfectly honest, his recovery status, having minimal clean time when we had met, etc. the tune eventually changed, but I have a hard time forgetting it.
@auyoungs98, I never forgave my grandparents. They raised me, and there words hurt me so deeply. As much as I’d love to be the bigger person, it’s so difficult when it comes to your babies. They should be more worried about your happiness than an age difference. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this ☹️
@katelynknitseverything I'm sure I'll be okay. All these hormones going everywhere I can tell which emotions are real or not
@auyoungs98, I’m sure despite what your brother and father have said, they’re going to love that little human you’re cooking so much, and will seriously regret their words. And they’ll find a new love for your SO because of that sweet muffin.
Everyone pretty much didn’t want me to have my daughter they wanted me to put her up for adoption cause I was 18 🙄
How many kids are "too many kids" for ur preference? Lol I think 4 is my limit 😌
who is a stay home mom ? My husband said I can stay home when I give birth I just wonder how it’s going to be with two kids
How often do u moms give ur baby a bath???

Milk is my crave I love it sooo much. What's urs or was urs
My first pregnancy virtually everyone I knew lost their shit. My step-dad, though, said that I didn't have a choice. I had to have the baby. He would not allow me to abort it (I was 17). That if I didn't want it I could put it up for adoption but if I kept it he would support me and help me best he could. After I stood up to everyone about giving me such a hard time, most of them backed off and my grandparents even offered me a place to stay if I didn't want to live around my mother. Most of them just thought I had been a careless teenager. My second pregnancy no one was around, originally, and when I let people back into my life, no one risked saying anything about it because they knew I would just cut them off, they all fucked up and it happened anyways, though. It sucks, but almost all of my family hasn't even met my baby girl. They don't want to be supportive of my decisions for my family, they want to be negative, there isn't a place for them in our lives.
