How Many Mamas Chose Circumcision for Their Sons?

I did with both mine and it takes 10 minutes and it healed pretty fast I don’t regret it at all just apply lots of Vaseline when it’s first done till it heals

I got my first son circumcised healed within 5 to 7 days! I just got my newborn circumcised about 2hrs ago & so far so good! Just got to stay on top of it with the ointment!

We did it and I’ll do it again. It healed quickly and nicely. Was hard changing him but as soon as it fell off things got easier and I didn’t feel bad anymore.

We did and no issues. Our hospital did it with a laser so very quick and less painful

We did. I didn’t care my hubby insisted. He went with him in the hospital when they did it and it healed fine. If they do the ring where it falls off you won’t use Vaseline.

Both of my boys are no problems. Lots of Vaseline every diaper change

We did and had no issues whatsoever. Diaper changes were a little harder but we just kept a lot of vasoline on and around it to keep the diaper from sticking and to prevent irritation.

i have 1 son that is and 2 sons that arent doesnt make much of a difference either way

With my first son I really thought about it but while in the hospital we had a roommate and she circumstanced her little boy and he cried the whole time. She couldn’t get any sleep and she kept giving him to the nurses. So I decided not to. Plus I don’t really see the point of it 🤷🏾‍♀️

Did it for religious reasons , and I’d do it even if it wasn’t for religious purposes either .

I did. He didn't cry or anything. If you do just make sure you keep it clean during healing and use Vaseline or A&d to keep it from sticking to the diaper. Took 5 days for ring to come off and 13 days to heal completely

If i ever have a son, i would.

I did. And I hear people talk about pain and all and my son was fine. U really have to think about your own life style and what you want for your children. For instance, I don't like the fact that some people choose to pierce their kids ears because of religious reasons. To me that should be something that someone chooses on their own. Even though circumcision is also looked at as a religious decision to most for me (and this is strongly an option) it's nasty to not. It makes for a higher risk of infection for both men and women with sexual contact. I'd rather do it while he's younger. He's not gonna miss the extra skin🤷

If he wants something like that done later in life it WILL be a lot more painful as an adult.

My sons had it for religious reasons at birth. Fully healed in 5-7 days with no issues, they didn’t even need pain meds after. My brother was circumcised at age 9 for medical reasons and it took way longer to heal.

And if i had a chose to take care of my girls ear piercing or my sons circumcision i would choose boys. Fast and easy.

It was fine. I put Vaseline on it to keep it from getting stuck to the diaper which can be super painful to the little guys while they are healing.

I’m waiting till my son is 6 months to get him circumcised, his consult is next month.

I decided to wait bc that’s what my old pediatrician/his current pediatrician suggested when I asked and he preferred a place in atlanta to us
