Am I the only one that doesn't send their kids class Valentine cards, Easter candy, Christmas gifts for the whole class???? I think its a waste of money!!!! I could use it towards groceries, or college fund or something else..... 25 kids in class .. That adds up after awhile..... These kids don't even play or use whatever it is in the goody bag!!!! What do u ladies think?????
Ours asked if whoever wanted to bring something for 25 kids..... each student..... Can't leave a student out and there are names and also for all the teachers the class has..... Which is 8 teachers..... I'm like no thanks. I pass
I definitely do not get Christmas gifts for the whole class. If I could I wouldnt send in any of the other stuff, it does add up, BUT my kids would be so upset to not participate in that stuff.
If all 25 kids participate, then that's alot stuff. Less 1 kid which is mine is fine. It's not even participation..... It's these moms that are already super tired n need sleep feel bad for the class and thinking they need to buy the whole class something when it all just goes in the garbage.
@babytj0214 well, our school seems to be way different than yours. Our simply asks for candy for their little parties, that's all.
Nah I could totally relate.
I think I’d choose like some cheap ass candies like smarties abs valentines my kid picked out and call it a day. That can’t be much.
But only Valentine’s Day cause I think that’s still a thing where they like make their own collection box and it’s so cute. Easter and Christmas hell no.
It would still be $25 plus tax cuz there's 25 kids in my son's class right a now..... I mean maybe for his birthday I might send something.... But for Valentine's days and every Other holiday is crazy.... Moms must have money to spend
My son is only in pre k and his class asked for cards and cookies. Idk how it is when they get older but I mean $7 didn’t really set me back that much lol
