Has anyone been induced with their lil ones? If so how was it for ya'll & did it worked. I'm due on the 21st & Dr. Think he might have to induced me all my other 2 babies were natural & came a week or 2 before due date but this baby being stubborn🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️☹

I was induced at 38 weeks with my first, and it honestly wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be, everybody’s body reacts differently. I was in labor for 20 hours but i never experienced any contractions at all, I pushed maybe like 6 times and she was out . Good luck girl

I was induced at 37 weeks. Started pitocin around 7 pm. And had my son at 4:41 am. Pushed for 3 hours.
I got induced as well, at 41 weeks signed in the hospital around 5ish and I had my baby around 4AMish the next morning the wait felt like forever just trying to dilate so I could start pushing
I was induced with both my boys my first was hell 26 hours of labor 8 hours of pushing but he was also stuck behind my pelvic bone
My second was 8 hours labor 25ish minutes of pushing it was a beautiful labor 😂 I dilated so fast the doctor barely got in there in time I went from a 6 to a I gotta push now within 20 minutes and the nurses screaming don’t push yet we gotta wait for the doctor he barely made it in 😂😂
I was induced with both of my babies. My first one was terrible It took 15 hours to actually start contracting and and a few hours later she was born. I had a 4th degree tear. With my second it was a lot better, didnt take too long and again I tore but not as bad. This dr repaired me so much better than my previous one. I also had a bigger baby. He weighed 9lbs... if you have a healthy pregnancy just wait it out and wait for baby to come on their own.. if you're approaching 42 weeks then get induced
I will be 40weeks this week & by next week i will be already 41weeks i just don't see any signs of baby coming on his own, but dr told me i was 2cm dilated i went on monday but i just don't know if i will deliver sooner then my due date or induction date
@claudie_02 I hope you go into labor naturally. I never did, I tried waiting it out with my son and nothing was happening. I was 41 weeks and only 1cm. Got induced and he weighed 9lbs

I was induced with my last 2. It went fine. My doctor said you're more likely to have a successful induction if you've already had kids because your body knows what to do when you're in labor.

I was induced with both my girls and it wasn't bad. Everything went normally like a natural birth. I was Induced the night b4 my due date both times. My first baby my labor was 14 hours start to finish but it was baby #1 that's normal. Baby #2 was a 8 hour labor start to finish! Went by so fast and it didn't even hurt that much. My epidural didn't work so I did it naturally and I loved it. The recovery was WAY shorter!
I was induced with my last 2 pregnancies kinda. My first girl I woke up in the middle of the night and my water broke but I wasn’t having contractions so they gave pitocin to start contractions. With my last I went in at 40 weeks and was induced and everything went good.

@claudie_02, I thought it was way less stressful. I had a time and date to be there so I had everything ready and arrangements for the other kids made. No waking up in the middle of the night in labor and panicking
@supermomof4 Yess! That is what i think too is better cause that way i can find a family member to help me with my other two :)
I was induced at 41 weeks with My first. It worked. I went in at 6 am on the 23rd and started the meds by 7 am he was born the next day at 5 am.
WoW! That wasen't too bad. This baby don't want to come on his own thats why i am worried bc it will be my first time getting induced & not sure what to expect!
@claudie_02 i don't think it was that bad. Contractions were hell though. I dont have anything to compare to. My son didnt wanna come on his own either that's why i was 41 weeks and so done lol i wished they would have induced me earlier because he was 9 pounds!
@jade2017 See that is what i'm afraid of that he might be a big baby. My 1st born son was 6lbs 13oz & daughter was 7lbs 13oz & this baby not sure how much he weights now bc dr haven't done an ultrasound to see how big he is.
i was induced w/ my first baby 3 weeks early & it was absolute hell. it prob would have been easier if it was closer to my due date & NOT my first child, but i could answer any questions you have about it from what i’ve experienced!
