Ladies! For those with vaginal deliveries (....with stitches...) how long did it take you to recover from it? The sting sensation of the stitches? Have you done bath of any kind? When did you actually go back to working out?! 🤷🏼♀️😫

I used the tucks and dermoplast spray for a long time. It helps soothe. I’d take baths right away.
I was afraid and didn't go back to working out until around 2 months postpartum. My stitches were healed about 4-6weeks later I would say. Have you been using witch hazel pads or anything? That helped heal mine a little quicker I think
Do you know where I can find those? I don’t bleed anymore but kinda like leak a little.... just my stitches are tight and they feel like pulling a little it’s extremely uncomfortable
@laure.kraft420 yes they have them at Target and maybe CVS. If you can't find those just get witch hazel and soak a cotton disc with it

how soon did you wait to have sex after birth? parents who had stitches.
The tucks (witch hazel pads) helped me so much! I used them all day long lol and the demoplast I used every time I peed. Also, the baths helped. I didn't get any relief on the stinging for at least 3 weeks. Wasn't healed completely for a month or so!
