Is this a good car seat? I need to find one that’s safe and affordable. My son is almost at the height limit for his infant car seat so I need to get a new one within the next month or two.

I got my daughter a new car seat and I love it! It’s so much smaller than her old one and it adjusts so easily! If your looking for a seat for a small vehicle this one is good!
When should I change to a high back booster? So my son is 5&1/2 years old and about 55lbs. He still in a 5 point harness car seat. When should I change him to the high back booster seat? I have the graco 3 in one seat.
Always amazed At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!

I have it hate it for rear facing is okay for forward I really didn't like the way it sat in my car.... My husband has the same one I'm his jeep and has not problem with it.

@babybump21 I have a Masada it just moves to much in my car where I'm the jeep it has a foster back and can get nice and tite

@babybump21 sometimes with the rear facing install, depending on the angle of the backseat the manufacturer recommends that you use a rolled up towel or a pool noodle under the base to keep the seat at the correct recline.
I used a pool noodle in my ford focus when we were rear facing. But in my opinion it wasn't that big of a deal because I didn't need to constantly reinstall the car seat. But I probably would have hated it if I would have needed to move the car seat to different cars on a regular basis.

I have 2 of these car seats.. well the safety 1st version of this seat.(the safety 1st guide 65 Same car seat just different fabric choices)
This carseat is kinda a pain in the butt to install rear facing but its doable. (Theres a few YouTube videos showing how to get a proper install) It's a decent car seat without many bells and whistles and it keeps my baby safe you can also fit 3 across in a backseat which is awesome since I drive a small car..
However $84 seems a little expensive. If you go on the Walmart website they have some of the cosco mighty fit carseat for under $60... the most expensive is $75 you can just order it and ship it to your store

Yes it's easy to get the kids in and out. My daughter was in a lorenz brace for a time after her hip dysplasia surgery and even with her wearing the brace I could get her in and out easily.
Some other good things about this seat is that it's good to 40lbs rear facing and 65lbs forward facing. So we will have this seat for years.
I do wish I didn't have to rethread the straps when my daughter or nephew grow. Taking the car seat in and out of the car is kinda a pain but once again it's not that bad and it's not like I constantly need to rethread the straps. But for the price it a nice basic seat.

Since you are buying 3 car seats you could also buy this car seat for the grandma's car you really can't go wrong for $38.
I've purchased a few of these seats for "backup" car seats and they work just fine.
Then if you wanted to, you could splurge on a car seat for your car that has a few more bells and whistles since I'm assuming your baby will be in your car the most.

I just didn’t know if some were better than other, but they all are pretty much the same I guess right? I just don’t want to spend $200+ on one!!
