Any tips on potty training my son will be 3 in 4 months and will barley pee in the toilet I have to force him and the whole time his sitting on the toilet he cries or yells.
I help my baby daddy with his younger son when we were together (July ‘17 - nov ‘18). His son is 5 1/2 and I had to help him learn to use the bathroom. One of us would go to the door and watch him to make sure he went. If we did he got some sort of a reward (like a small piece of candy)
I just potty trained my 3yr old and I was surprised how well she did. She has never been interested in her potty so I thought it was going to be a challenge. We did the 3 day training. First day she kept peeing on the floor and showing me where lol by the end of the day she started to on her potty. I gave her treats every time she did it in the potty. By the second day she had 2 accidents by the 3 she totally got it. I only put on a diaper at night, after 2 weeks she’s without a diaper at night and hasn’t had an accident yet. The first day I tried to place her on the potty every 15-20 min but she started to get angry so I left her alone and whenever she had an accident I was explaining to her that she has to sit on the potty and that she’ll get chocolate. Also to make it more exciting for her I was singing every time she did it correctly “ Go Gia Go Gia Go” she really enjoyed that and was dancing around lol
Remember they’re still young and will have accidents, even 6 yr olds sometimes have accidents.
To give you some background. I worked in childcare for 20 years. All 3 of my boys were fully trained within 3 days. The average age for success with this method is 3 years old.
I stopped trying like two weeks ago because he just doesn’t want to use it at first he was excited but then when he saw it was something he had to do he started hating it. But I will try to start again when he starts showing those signs thank you!
@bonillagenesis17 You're welcome! I hope it works for you!

Signs of Potty Training Readiness:
He can verbalize or show you in some way that he needs to go, not just that he's already gone.
He starts to hide or stands/ squats in place to poop.
He starts having bowel movements at the same time each day.
He starts to wake up from bedtime and naps with a dry diaper.
He shows an interest in going potty and does not have a fear response when placed on the potty.
Once these milestones are reached it's time to start. I block out a week to be at home with no major outings. Though it usually takes less time. Make sure that anyone caring for your child knows that you have begun the process. If you are a working mom it's best to start when you have a couple days off at home and let his daycare know that you are actively training. Some kids respond well to lots of excitement and praise, others become frightened or overstimulated by the pressure to "perform". Decide what level of enthusiasm is best for your child and go from there.
In my experience, I have found this to be the least stressful and quickest way to approach potty training. I hope this helps!
Please don't force him. I made a post about the signs of potty training readiness. Let me see if I can link to it.
Losing hope for our rainbow
So I'm 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I was at work last night and needed to use the the bathroom....tmi...when I looked down the toilet bowl was full of bloody water. When I wiped there was nothing. I've had no pain and more more bleeding since. I went to the er but there wasn't much they could do because I'm so early. They checked my levels (6140) and booked me in for an early scan on Friday. I feel like I've already lost the baby ? I don't know what to do
Potty training diaries :
Today was our full day of potty training - Asher has 0 accidents , made peepee in the toilet afew times and even pooped once ! So let’s just say it was a success today 🙌🏻 let’s hope the same for tomorrow and forever lol
