After talking with a friend about how long labor was I’m curious how much it changes with each child for everyone. And if your water broke each time.
My first my water broke and I was in labor for 26 hours pushed for 30 min of that. She was stubborn! Lol
My second my water broke as well and I was only in labor for 4 hours and pushed 1x and he was out.
What a difference. I’d have a million children if my labor was like my second hahaha.
Ouch! It’s great it seems to be getting quicker and the tears have gone. I swear by doing perineal stretching with some coconut oil the month before they are due. I did it with both kids and didn’t tear. You should try it for this baby! Because healing is rough and I couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable that is healing.
My water broke the first time, had 3rd degree tear 6lbs 12oz but not 2nd and third. 2nd was the easiest but I had a still birth. Induced at 38w Only 6lbs. Both 1st and 2nd labors kind of long but not too bad I can't remember how long though. 3rd was a c section planned 7lbs 4oz. 3rd was awful so was 1st.
With my first my water broke and I was in labor for 15 hours and pushed for 2 hours.
With my second my water broke but I didnt dilate for 6 hours so they have me pitocin and I had him within 3 hours after getting pitocin and it only took 1 push.
My birthing experiences were night and day, If I knew id have another labor experience like my second id have another child.
My water has been broken with each pregnancy, but heres my labor stats:
DS1 11.5 hrs, 2.5 hrs of pushing. His head circumference was 99% 😳, 2 first degree tears
DD 2.5 hrs of labor, pushed through 2 contractions, 1 first degree
DS2 2 hrs of labor, pushed maybe 10 minutes, no tears
