So I’m a little worried past two nights my baby has been sleeping from 5-6 hours without waking up.. I know I should be happy bc I get sleep but it’s so weird bc before she would wake up every hour or every 30 mins now she sleeps longer & she’s only a month old. Last night she slept from 11:30-4:45am.. night before was 11-5:30 right before bed she gets extremely fussy too!

That's a great start! If you're worried, talk to your doctor. I had the same concern when my baby slept that long around the same time, and he assured me it was great and to enjoy the sleep. Baby's tummy is getting large enough to not get hungry as often so that may be why.

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?
